Topology optimisation in construction process - Draft part design with CATIA V5 and other CAD systems

CATOPO® is the integration of topology optimization in CATIA V5, ProE, Unigraphics, SolidWorks and Step. Through this it's possible to develop a draft part design while constructing it on the computer.

In the new release for CATIA-V5, LC-Solver, Permas-Topo and Optistruct solvers are integrated. CATOPO® facilitates the use of these highly productive programs through an user interface similar to CATIA-V5 with the known tree structure for model data files.

Simulation of filling and emptying process for tank container

An efficient use of the designed space in vehicles needs a complex formed container for liquids. These forms can´t be analysed with simple methods. Will these complex formed containers be filled or emptied, the relations of fill-level and fill quantity (volume) is difficult to determine, if there is still no prototyp. Authoritative statements about the fill quantity, which can be stored or about the level indicator graph are not possible.

ABASURF assists user of the program ABAQUS in selection and definition of the contact faces and assignment. For a given FE-model will be searched automatically all free surfaces which are in contact with other parts.

cm2ab is an interface between C-Mold and ABAQUS for the calculation of shrinkage and distortion with ABAQUS. The part data (geometry, fiber orientation, residual stress, etc.) are being imported from C-Mold.
