Software development in the FE environment

Main focus of our product palette are integrations of finite-element-programs in CATIA, calculations with fabrics and interface solutions. CES Eckard is a SPATIAL CAA V5 Software Adopter for Catia V5, than means, we are developing software, which is integrated in CATIA.

• CATOPO is the integration of the topology-optimization-solver TOSCA, PERMAS TOPO and Optistruct in CATIA V4 + V5. After definition of a designed space, the weight introduction and the storage, the system determines the optimal arrangement of the material.

• MESHRED coarse shell element meshs of complete vehicle models in the Nastran format.

• Fill-Plus is a solution for calculation the fill volume of containers and tanks. Transposition functions for adjustment of the signals for the tank display will also be given, like statements for the fill process and the arrangement of ventilations.

• cm2ab is a cut surface solution for calculation of shrinkage and delay with the non-linear FE-program ABAQUS. The draft part data (geometry, fibre orientation, self tension etc.) will be taken from C-Mold.
